style=\"padding-bottom:0\">A brief history<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\" style=\"margin-bottom:0px\"><br\/>In the 19th century, La Clairi\u00e8re was a land of vines and hunting by the ocean.<br\/><br\/>The hunting lodge, built in 1821 of local stone and wood, still bears witness to this, and now houses our renovated wellness area.<br\/><br\/>Later, in 1950, this 12-hectare stretch of forest became a summer camp<br\/>for the children of the City of Paris who came to recharge their batteries.  <br\/><br\/>And it was in 1993 that the first owners created the 147-site &#8220;La Clairi\u00e8re&#8221; campsite, developing it over fourteen years. The swimming pools were built, as were the slide and services.  It was awarded three stars.  <br\/><br\/>Since 2006, its current owners &#8211; Guylaine and L\u00e9o Caldarola &#8211; have expanded its infrastructure, renovated its many buildings and opened new services.  <br\/><br\/>Since then, we&#8217;ve added a lagoon, a 2.5-hectare rope park, a bar and restaurant revamped in wood and local stone, wooden takeaway kiosks (wood-fired pizza, snack bar, bakery) and new Premium cottages.
